CCA’s very own president-elect Lisa Vaeth recently was named the 2023 recipient for her community’s Henry M. Zachs Spirit of Judaism Award through the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford. This award was established 10 years ago by the family of Henry M. Zachs in honor of his birthday. Mr. Zachs is a well-respected leader in the Jewish community, and is also the Vice-Chair of Jewish Federation’s Association of Jewish Cemeteries.
This award is given to an unsung hero who has the best interests of the Jewish community at heart and is a model and inspiration for others.
Lisa was also presented with a citation from the State of Connecticut for her dedication and passion for helping others and for being an advocate for the Greater Hartford community.
